How to get a copy of my real estate license?

In some states once your real estate license has been activated, you have the option to print your license through the state online portal.

In other states your sponsoring broker will be able to visit the state online portal and print out your license. A copy of your license will also be delivered or mailed to your sponsoring broker.

Alabama

How to get a copy of my real estate license in Alabama?

If you’d like a hard copy of your Alabama salesperson license, request one with the license print and mail form. You may also be able to request one through AREC’s online services or your qualifying broker.

Arizona

How to get a copy of my real estate license in Arizona?

Once your real estate salesperson license has been activated, you have the option to print your license through the ADRE portal. You will log in, go to your personal page, and select “print license.”

Arkansas

How to get a copy of my real estate license in Arkansas?

A license and pocket card will be sent to your principal broker once the Arkansas Real Estate Commission issues your license.

Colorado

How to get a copy of Colorado real estate license?

You can print a copy of your Colorado broker license through the online CDRE portal.Log into your account and select the link titled “Print Your License.” Note that you will not see this option if your license is inactive or expired.

Delaware

How to get a copy of my real estate license in Delaware?

Any downloadable and printable licenses will be available through the Department of Professional Licensing online system.

Hawaii

How to get a copy of your real estate license in Hawaii?

Printable Hawaii real estate salesperson license certificates are available at no cost and can be downloaded online by using the MyPVL website.

Idaho

You can go online to the Idaho Real Estate Commissions Online Services to find a downloadable and printable license.

Illinois

How to get a copy of your real estate license in Illinois?

The IDFPR will no longer provide traditional paper licenses. Licensees may get a copy of their license(s) by going to https://www.idfpr.com/getmylicense.

Indiana

How to get a copy of your real estate license in Indiana?

Indiana doesn’t automatically send you a copy of your broker’s license. Instead, it offers digital certification of your license for a $10 fee. If you’d like a paper copy, you can print one for free by visiting here. Or, you canrequest an official document for a $10 fee.

Iowa

How to get a copy of your real estate license in Iowa?

The Iowa Real Estate Commission will email you a certificate at the time of licensure. You can also log into the My Iowa PLB platform and click on your license number. You won't be able to review and download your license for printing.

Kentucky

How to get a copy of my real estate license in Kentucky?

Your principal broker will be able to visit the Kentucky DPL eServices to print out your license. A copy of your license will also be delivered or mailed to your principal broker.

Massachusetts

How to get copy of a Massachusetts real estate license?

You receive a printed wall license at the PSI Testing Center when you pass the state exam. Otherwise, you will need to contact the MA Board of Licensing to receive a copy of your salesperson license.

Montana

How to get a copy of my real estate license in Montana?

You can print a paper copy by logging into the Montana Department of Labor & Industry license portal.

New Jersey

How to get a copy of my real estate license in New Jersey?

To print a copy of your New Jersey salesperson license, first log in to Online Licensing Services (OLS). The main menu has a link about generating your license. You'll need to click on “email my individual license.” It will now show you how to view, save, print, or email your license.

New Mexico

How to get a copy of your real estate license in New Mexico?

The New Mexico Real Estate Commission will mail your real estate associate broker license to your New Mexico brokerage firm.

Oklahoma

How to get a copy of my real estate license in Oklahoma?

You can print your wall certificates and pocket card by going online to the licensing portal. This feature is available 24/7 to active licensees. You will not be mailed a license.

Texas

How to get a copy of my real estate license in Texas?

If you opt to file a paper license application, you must complete the Inactive Real Estate Sales Agent License form and mail it to TREC. This is a simple 2-page form.

Paper applications are subject to a $20 paper filing fee, in addition to the standard $205 license application fee.

Vermont

How to get a copy of my real estate salesperson license in Vermont?

You can print a copy of your real estate salesperson license from the Office of Professional Regulation portal that manages your licensing status.
