Typically your real estate license is held by your sponsoring broker. So in case you are changing your brokerage your license will be tranfered from the old broker to the new.

Alabama

If you transfer brokers, you must notify the AREC you are moving from your current broker. Go to AREC Online Services to initiate a registration/transfer form.

Alaska

You must submit a change of license status application. Your terminating broker must sign and date your license. The new employing broker will also need to sign and date your license and submit the information required on the application form.

Arizona
